6. When would you recommend cutting pruning the everberry raspberries.

Answer: Everbearing raspberries should be pruned in spring. Generally 2 year old canes should be removed completely and the 1-year old canes can be cut back to below last year’s fruiting points to encourage fruiting in July. This method will keep your raspberry patch fruiting all summer and into autumn.

7. Can you recommend a good go to resource for information on good/beneficial insects and those that are not.

Answer: My go-to source for information on beneficial insects is the Canadian Wildlife Federation —> https://cwf-fcf.org/…/insects/beneficial-insects.html

8. How can one get rid of White Clover?

Answer: I don’t think you can eliminate it completely, but you can control it in your lawn by improving the overall health of your turf. Clover grows well in areas of low nitrogen and where the grass is sparse. Adding a nitrogen rich fertilizer to your lawn in spring and top-dressing and overseeing will help to strengthen your turf grass and create a less conducive environment for white clover. A thick layer of mulch will help to control it in garden areas.
