We can all see the impact of climate change in our gardens. Changes in temperature, precipitation and growing season has altered how we garden. The future of our gardens will change how we use our spaces, how we select our plants and how we enjoy our gardens. In this talk, you will learn sustainable ideas to ensure your garden is climate resilient.
Working as a designer, Joanne approaches all designs from an environmental and sustainable landscape perspective. Through creativity she incorporates solutions which are functional for the client and beneficial for the environment. Joanne is also a therapeutic horticultural practitioner. She understands the value of plants and gardens and how they can mentally, physically and socially benefit us all. Joanne encourages everyone to engage with plants, and acknowledges that even a small container with one or two plants can provide therapeutic value to us as humans and also benefit our natural world.
