Answer: Creeping Charlie is a member of the mint family and is an especially difficult weed to eradicate because of its extensive rhizomatous roots. If it is mostly in a lawn area, try to hand weed as much as possible, then top dress and overseed the lawn. A good healthy lawn will reduce resist the infestation. A fertilizer with additional boron might also help to control the infestation since Creeping Charlie grows best in soils with low boron content.
